Perfume DNA ownership & permitted use
These terms explain who owns the custom scent formulas ("perfume DNA") created through this app, and what you may — and may not — do with them.
1. Ownership of your perfume DNA
Every perfume DNA created through this app — the combination of bottle, oils, proportions and blend name that makes up your unique scent — is the intellectual property of Eraya Scents. Creating a blend gives you a personal creation to enjoy; it does not transfer ownership of the formula itself.
2. What you may do
- Order your custom blend for personal use through the Eraya Scents store.
- Save, revisit and share a preview of your blend with friends and family.
- Adjust and re-order your own blends as often as you like.
3. What requires our consent
A perfume DNA made here cannot be sold, resold, reproduced or duplicated — commercially or otherwise — without the knowledge and prior written consent of Eraya Scents. This includes passing the formula to another perfumer or manufacturer to recreate.
4. Buying your unique scent
If you would like to buy your unique scent outright, or discuss licensing it for wider use, we would love to hear from you. Email us at aneeqa@erayascents.com and we will talk it through together.
